Westsail 32

Le voilier Westsail 32 est un monocoque habitable de croisière, construit par le chantier Westsail en États-Unis. Ce voilier Quille fixe, gréé en Cotre, réalisé par l'architecte naval William Crealock avec un tirant d'eau maximum de 1.52 m. La production a démarré en 1971 et s'est terminée en 1981. 830 exemplaires du bateau ont été produits.

Présentation

Based on a Colin Archer design (47', circa 1890), scaled down by William Atkin (THISTLE 32), and adapted for fiberglass by William Crealock for Kendall Yacht Corp.(1967). The KENDALL 32 as it was called has a flush deck. Westsail added the trunk cabin. Of the (approx.)830 hulls built, some 400 were sold as kits or bare hulls. As would be expected, rig dimensions, ballast material and other details vary.
