Sunbeam One Design

Le voilier Sunbeam One Design est un monocoque habitable de croisière, construit par le chantier Woodnutt & Co en Royaume-Uni. Ce voilier Quille fixe, gréé en Sloop fractionné, réalisé par l'architecte naval Alfred Westmacott avec un tirant d'eau maximum de 1.14 m. La production a démarré en 1922. 44 exemplaires du bateau ont été produits.

Since the orginal SUNBEAMS were built in the 1920's, the class has maintained racing fleets, almost continually, to this day.
Currently, the Class is organised in two Divisions. The SOLENT SUNBEAMS (with
Headquarters at Itchenor) and the FALMOUTH SUNBEAMS (with headquarters at the
Port of Falmouth).
Spinnaker allowed only for the Solent fleet.Since the orginal SUNBEAMS were built in the 1920's, the class has maintained racing fleets, almost continually, to this day.
