Seafarer 48

Le voilier Seafarer 48 est un monocoque habitable de croisière, construit par le chantier Hughes Boatworks en Canada. Ce voilier Quille fixe, gréé en Yawl en tête, réalisé par l'architecte naval Sparkman & Stephens avec un tirant d'eau maximum de 2.13 m. La production a démarré en 1969.

It was first introduced at the NY Boat Show in 1969. Naed Queen of the show it was one of the largest sailboats ever displayed there.
It is thought that less than 5 were built at the Seafarer plant on Long Island (USA).
Today a large osaic of the boat exists at an office coplex located at the site where the Seafarer plant once stood.
