Le voilier Islander 28 est un monocoque habitable de croisière, construit par le chantier Islander Yachts en États-Unis. Ce voilier Quille fixe, gréé en Sloop en tête, réalisé par l'architecte naval Robert Perry avec un tirant d'eau maximum de 1.52 m. La production a démarré en 1975 et s'est terminée en 1985. 430 exemplaires du bateau ont été produits.

A similar 'Bahama' model was introduced in 1981 but sold poorly. Not long after, the standard model was then brought back into production until 1985. With more than 400 sold, this was among the brands most successful models.
Rated highly on the used sailboat market. Robert Perry has stated that this is one of his favorite designs.
