Bounty Ii

Le voilier Bounty Ii est un monocoque habitable de croisière, construit par le chantier Aero Marine Plastics en États-Unis. Ce voilier Quille fixe, gréé en Sloop fractionné, réalisé par l'architecte naval Willia Garden avec un tirant d'eau maximum de 1.75 m. La production a démarré en 1956 et s'est terminée en 1961. 100 exemplaires du bateau ont été produits.

RHODES 29, the BOUNTY II was one of the first production auxiliary sailboats of this size built in fiberglass. The design was coissioned by the builder specifically for the newly touted fiberglass construction ethods. (Willia Garden, was retained to assist in the adaptation. )
The first boats were delivered with a fractional rig with the ast built of fiberglass. (As shown in drawing). Later boats had a asthead aluinu spar.
A few of this design (12?) were finished by Paler Johnson Yachts. The olds were later acquired by Pearson Yachts.
