O'Day 290

Le voilier O'Day 290 est un monocoque habitable de croisière, construit par le chantier Lear Siegler Marine en États-Unis. Ce voilier Quille fixe, gréé en Sloop en tête, réalisé par l'architecte naval C. Raymond Hunt & Assoc. avec un tirant d'eau maximum de 1.60 m. La production a démarré en 1989 et s'est terminée en 1990.

Just before the demise of both Pearson Yachts and Oday Corp, (Cal boats closed it's doors somewhat earlier) production under the various brands was consolidated at the Pearson plant in RI, USA. The O'DAY 290 was introduced during this period. It is said to be a re-branded version of the CAL 28-2, which, in turn, had been built earlier at the O'Day plant.
Also available with shoal draft Sheel keel.
Inboard engine and wheel steering were also available as options.Just before the demise of both Pearson Yachts and Oday Corp, (Cal boats closed it's doors somewhat earlier) production under the various brands was consolidated at the Pearson plant in RI, USA.
